AI & Society Lab Prof. Sorelle Friedler, Haverford College

Policy

Prof. Friedler regularly contributes to tech policy, especially related to the areas of focus in the AI & Society Lab, including policy approaches to supporting AI and civil rights. Friedler is also the Chair of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) U.S. Tech Policy Committee and contributes to ACM U.S. policy products through that leadership. During her time at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, Friedler co-authored the AI Bill of Rights and contributed to federal policy governing agency use of AI.
